If you have ever visited Magnolia Hill, there was always a fabulous horse named Blue who was loved by our family, friends and especially his always near companion, Delilah. Blue loved to have his picture made and all the extra attention.
We are heartbroken that Blue has been called to greener pastures and left us with broken hearts.
Blue was such a greeter, always had his head over the fence
for a friendly hello.
It is hard to put into words...
We did everything we could to save him, but to no avail.
Blue knew Buddy was always
right on time for feeding time...twice a day!
Some friends come into our lives
and leave hoof prints on our hearts.
Ears up, listening and looking for someone to come out of the house.
There is something about the smell of horses that just melts my heart.
Beloved by every member of our family....
Blues shoes were special made.
Blues shoes are on either side of a typical
horse shoe in the center of our farrier's truck bed.
Stately and magnificent, Blue was always ready to have his picture made.
Best friends, Blue and Delilah
The old saying, "You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours" ...comes straight from horses mouth.
Close by each other even when resting at ease.
Morning walks were always a walk with best friends.
Everyday I am grateful for moments like these...
Blue....May your days be heavenly filled with pastures of
knee high green grass
for that is what makes you so happy.
Blue...You will forever be loved and missed.
