In the Mood for Fall on the Porch




I love decorating for fall but this August heat is crazy!
 Fall means the temperature will be cooler and 
I will be much happier.
 My hydrangeas 
 look quite different from their gorgeous blue color as they
 turn their heads toward fall colors too.  I clip and save the heads, 
spray them gold to work into flower arrangements. 


 
School bells are ringing and has started back in full swing 
amid these crazy covid times. 



I have started pulling out fall decor and doing a bit of shopping...


I can really tell the days are getting shorter
 which makes me love our 
twinkle lights even more.
 The lighting is so important especially in the fall. 





On the porch my black and white seems to anchor 
all the fall colors as we repainted the porch swing. 
How are you decorating for fall?   
The fall colors are so inspirational and once the mums, pumpkins, 
corn stalks, Kale ...even purple looks good I think with the black and white!   
Fall is truly a painter's pallet of color .

      I use Homestead and it just has a link button at the top...no plugin of which I was thrilled.

    I’m using a similar black and white checked outdoor rug (from Target) under my sisal pumpkin mat. And! I bought a fabulous wooden pumpkin patch sign that’s as tall and wide as I am. You ca find glimpses of it at my officially_pumpkin_obsessed Insta!
